IMPORTANT UPDATE – There will be no “Intake 2” for 2025.

CPAF relies primarily on funding received from the Government of BC, the last of which will be used for Intake 1 in 2025.  At this time we do not know if/when additional government funding may be provided to CPAF, but we hope to know more in time to potentially offer Intake 3 in 2025.

In the meantime, we encourage all Columbia students to apply for the Emergency Medical Assistants Fund (EMAF).  While applications are collected by the JIBC, the award itself is issued by a neutral committee that offers equal access to awards for students at JIBC and Columbia based on established criteria.

Please click here to be taken to the EMAF page on the JIBC’s website, and remember to check back closer to Intake 3’s scheduled dates for an update on possible CPAF support.
